Los datos de la Historia de la F1
La estadística en la Fórmula 1
El deporte del automóvil empezó mucho antes que la Fórmula 1. De hecho debió comenzar en el mismo momento en el que hubo un segundo coche, pero la F1 como tal arrancó el 13 de mayo de 1950, con el primer Gran Premio de Inglaterra de Fórmula 1, que tuvo lugar en el trazado de Silverstone. En aquella carrera se dieron cita veinte automóviles, y el ganador de esa primera prueba fue Nino Farina al volante de un Alfa Romeo 158. El Campeonato del Mundo de 1950 estuvo compuesto por seis carreras y los Alfa Romeo fueron los grandes dominadores de la categoría, con pilotos como Farina, el primer Campeón del Mundo de F1, y otros tan importantes como Juan Manuel Fangio o Luigi Fagioli.
